Hi, I'm Azi!

How I came to be a coach:

When I first encountered Clean Language Coaching, I was grappling with a difficult situation in my own life and I went to see Penny Tompkins and James Lawley, two of the most experienced Clean Language teachers, as a client. What happened in that session and the way they facilitated my system to resolve that difficult situation seemed like magic! I was blown away! After that I knew I wanted to learn how to help others in this powerful way. I had found my calling. I have been training, learning and practising Clean Language Coaching since then and I feel grateful doing what I do; there is something very humbling and beautiful about holding space for someone to find their Wisdom Within.

What makes me good at what I do:

My clients get great insights from our sessions. I’ve been told that my calm and patient way of working and the way I hold space for my clients is very effective in allowing them time to process what’s going on for them. I also think it’s to do with my total commitment to attending to the other person with full respect of what’s alive for them. By gently guiding their attention, they get to know more about themselves and find out what will work for them.

Education & Training:

Prior to training as a  Clean  Language coach, I worked as: a music therapist with non-profit organisations to improve mental, physical and emotional wellbeing of vulnerable groups and individuals, an apprentice wood carver, a filmmaker and a science journalist working with organisations such as BBC, Nature and the British Medical Journal, and as a research scientist at Imperial College London where I studied for my PhD in nanotechnology.
